One of my favourite things to do with my clothing is layer. It was hard at first moving to the desert and not being able to do much layering, but then fall arrived! I was happy to learn that it does indeed get cold here in Las Vegas, and I can in fact wear many items of clothing all at once! The moment it dropped from 90 I went on a sweater shopping spree, this is probably my favourite sweater of the bunch. I've always loved yellow, and I love the look of the green underneath, with the little collar popping out. Wearing tights is my #1 jam, so I was excited to put on a pair of brown stockings and call it an outfit!
Once again my photo session has turned into a cat party!
It's that time of year again, ghosts and witches all around, Halloween parties going down. A friend of mine had an all out monster mash bash and I didn't have a thing to wear! My main costume was not ready yet so I reverted back to the one costume I wore 6 years in a row... A black cat! Seriously, how can you go wrong? I threw on some kitty ears, a kimono sleeved black mini dress, some thick ripped leggings, my topshop platform shoes, and a big black fur coat. Almost everything I was wearing was borrowed from my favourite makeup artist friend Spencer Lopez, who was also responsible for the kitty nose and whiskers!
It's sweater time, and the living is easy... There is nothing more wonderful than a chilly Autumn day, a oversized sweater, a hot coffee, and some colourful tights! I may not live in New York anymore, but Las Vegas still gets cold enough for some good sweater wearing! I stopped in Buffalo Exchange and raided the 50% off rack, which just happened to be full of sweaters and floral print skirts! it was a good day. Let's not forget to mention the importance of saddle shoes, we all had them as children and we all want them now. Some trends never die, and rightfully so.

You just TRY to name me one person that doesn't like a school girl look! YOU JUST TRY! haha, kidding (kind of). I was trying to return a shirt at H&M for a measly $24 because I thought it was too expensive, when I stumbled upon this adorable tweed blazer for $19! I ended up spending twice as much to get it and two more sweaters, wo is me...
